The Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice (JoPPP) was established in 2008 with the mission to promote pharmaceutical policy and practice globally. The journal is published in the United Kingdom, indexed in Scopus and PubMed Central, and managed by a distinguished international editorial board.
JoPPP publishes high-impact research articles that provide real-world evidence in pharmaceutical policy and practice, covering topics such as medicine utilization, resource allocation, supply and demand dynamics, regulation, accessibility, optimization, utilization, healthcare delivery outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.

As of 2023, the journal holds a Scopus Impact Factor (IF) of 4.2 and ranks in Q1, positioning it among the world’s top 3 journals in the field of pharmaceutical policy and practice. Since 2018, JoPPP has presented the Helen Clark-JoPPP Award, named after former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Helen Elizabeth Clark, to recognize outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical policy and practice research.

The JoPPP International Scientific Conference has previously been held:

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2019, 2020)
In Sarawak, Kuching, East Malaysia (2024)
In Bangkok, Thailand (2025)
Based on its growing body of research articles, presentations, and best practices, JoPPP will hold the “5th JoPPP – Mongolia 2026” conference in collaboration with Etugen University on November 11–13, 2026. The official agreement for the event was signed on March 1, 2025.
